Rest and Relaxation in Ridgebook

My first shot at portrait drawings in years*

An idea I've been putting off for quite some time: a cover for the Legend of Black Ice novel. I thought of something catastrophic at first, but that would probably make the story's starting point a little too predictable, plus I would hate to have to tag it as mature for "politically offensive content." So I just stuck with something calm instead, being a simple scene of Atkin sitting in the middle of Ridgebook with Satomi and Lynette close to a tree with Renora right around the corner and Anais on a branch somewhat above them. Took care of three birds with a single stone

(Actually, I got bored at college and just drew random stuff in a sketchbook and got bored enough to want to draw it in digital, only moderately changed up. You can see the original here: Rest and Relaxation in Ridgebook (Sketch))

Still deciding on a palette for Atkin as far as clothing design goes, and Satomi's is based on an Inktober sketch I did last month
